Carnelian

The color of this stone, a beautiful red orange, reminds me of fall and the lovely changing of the leaves that it brings. Carnelian is a fire stone, and because of it, its medicine helps to awaken our passions. No matter what passion we have, it is expressed in creation. If we enjoy cooking, we create a wonderful meal. If we enjoy music, we create by playing it. If we have a passion for video games, we create wonderful feelings inside by playing them. It is all about how we feel when we do what we enjoy, for feelings create.

Carnelian stands for creativity and sexuality. So as you can see, it is all about passion. This wonderful and fiery stone helps us to unlock our deep sexuality and creativity in the ways that we need to. For example, we can feel our sexuality when we wear a silk shirt that makes us feel sensuous. It can lead to us wanting to do something with that feeling, but not specifically so. Instead, we could just enjoy the feeling for what it is and what it gives us. As for creativity, when we work with a carnelian, we are likely to feel drawn to create if that is what we do, or to do something we passionately enjoy. Having these things brought out in us can do nothing but good especially when we are in a position of being too busy to remember such things on our own.
