Lyn takes pleasure in her lake view in South Florida with her charming husband, enchanting daughter and loyal German Shepard, Charlie. She lives the dream of filling her days with masculine heroes, kickass heroines and cyber journeys into their sweeping sagas of romance.

I was able to spend some time with Lyn and speak to her regarding her love for writing and her series The Celtic Witch:

(PP) What was your inspiration for The Last Celtic Witch?

Lyn Armstrong (LA) I've always been a big fan of historical romances as well as the paranormal. I come from a family of wiccans and love to write about witches, sorcerers, warlocks and wizards. I also love to write outside-the-box, so I am blessed to have an awesome publisher that gives me the freedom to take the story to new erotic heights.

(PP) How does your husband feel about your work and (this is my own personal question) are any of your personal experiences in your writings? I had to ask this because I write and I tend to use my own experiences, so I am always curious about other writers as well, and you are so fantastic that I just had to ask :)

(LA) LOL. I would say the only experiences that I share with my characters are their emotional growth throughout the story. Whether it is the heroes, heroines or the villains, each of them must find something inside that resonates with the path they are on. A bit of me is in every character I write--the good, the bad and the ugly. ;0)
How does my husband feel? Well, he is very supportive of me. I am very lucky that I get to write full-time from home. He supports me emotionally and financially so I can follow my bliss. Besides, what man wouldn't be proud to have an erotic romance writer as a wife? :0)

(PP) Do you follow the Celtic path yourself and if so for how long and if not what path do you follow? I ask this as I read your Bio and didn't see where it said anything and it sparked my curiosity.

(LA)I don't follow the Celtic path, in fact, I had to do a lot of research to get the right Gods and Goddesses in my books. However, I am Wiccan and a light worker, so it wasn't too hard to incorporate those gifts into my characters.

(PP) I saw there is a sequel already out , "The Celtic Witch and the Sorcerer", would you like to tell us a little about that book? I can't wait to get my hands on it!!

(LA) The Celtic Witch and the Sorcerer was so much fun to write. If you like the first book, you'll love this one. The sorcerer is an anti-hero, a real bad boy by historical standards. But you'll see a side to him that he doesn't show the dark world around him and the readers will fall instantly in love, if not, in lust with him.
My Celtic witch is resilient, head strong and powerful, but her magical abilities are stifled by her protective parents. The reader will end up rooting for her as she finds out that everything in medieval Scotland is not always black and white. That sometimes naughty can be nice.

(PP) What has changed the most in your life since the success of "The Last Celtic Witch" along with the Celtic series?

(LA) I have less personal time. With fans writing to me everyday, asking when the next book is going to be released, I tend to write more now, than I ever did before. My publisher is very excited about the Celtic series and we are schedule to release a new book every three months. That doesn't leave me much time to waste. But, I wouldn't want it any other way. I LOVE to write. It's my passion and I'm the happiest when I get to live in a world of fantasy. In short, I get paid to daydream. You can't ask for a better job than that.

(PP) Is there anything else you would like our readers to know about you that I might have left out?

(LA) Well, I'm currently working on the fourth book in the Celtic series, LADY OF THE MOUNTAIN. This story is just itching to get out. The hero is the son of Merlin and is on a quest to find Merlin's stolen staff to restore his powers and good fortune for his family. While the heroine is a sorceress with evil and good magick running in her veins, she holds Merlin's staff within her enchanted mountain and will not give it up without a fight. To lose the staff would kill everything she holds dear. These two were destined to be lovers and cannot resist the attraction that binds their hearts. Can a sorceress and wizard sacrifice everything for the love of the other?

(PP) Thank you Lyn for taking the time to visit with us and sharing your life with our readers. For me this has been a fun and enjoyable "hot" time. I can't wait to read you next book.
